€28,100 for Chacco-Blue Filly Out of Explosion W’s Half-Sister
“What a fantastic auction it was last Monday evening,” was Sjaak van der Lei’s first reaction to the Olympic Genes Auction. Thirteen of the fourteen foals were sold. The auction topper was the Chacco-Blue filly out of the half-sister of Olympic champion Explosion W. She is heading to Poland for €28,100.
This same Polish buyer also purchased the Chacco-Blue filly from the dam line of United Touch S and Olympic champion Classic Touch. This foal is leaving for €27,100. Additionally, the Carthago Z filly out of the granddaughter of Jubilee is also going to Poland. She fetched €20,100.
Other top prices were paid for the filly from the dam line of Sea Coast Ferly, Narcotique de Muze II, and Qerly Chin. This daughter of Chacco-Blue was sold for €22,000 and is heading to Belgium. The Chacco-Blue pregnancy out of the daughter of Olympic Dubai du Cedre was knocked down for €19,000.
“We had the pleasure of welcoming new clients, but our regular customers also once again invested in fantastic (filly) foals and embryos. Without our loyal breeders, it wouldn’t be possible to organize such an auction; we are very grateful to them for their trust. The foals and embryos are all going to wonderful homes, and we wish the buyers much success,” concludes Sjaak van der Lei.
